South Korea will likely develop nuclear weapons within decades

The system will very likely last for several more decades. What's absolutely detrimental to it are any attempts at openness. Reforms are beneficial for North Korea. Openness is harmful—that is, it's harmful to preserving the current system

I can imagine a situation where reunification would occur if a revolution and regime change happen in the North. However, the likelihood of this is not very high, at least in the foreseeable future (This is in reference to North and South Korea. The probability of a revolution and regime change in North Korea is small)
