They fully understand that they’ve committed so many crimes—against Ukraine, against Russia, and on the international stage—that they won't be able to escape punishment. So, the only option for this political bureau of Bortnikov, Bastrykin, Putin, and Kovalchuk is to somehow hold on to power and keep this aging regime of 70- and soon-to-be 80-year-olds together. It’s clear that all these pseudo-sciences won’t help them much. And, from a purely mathematical perspective, it’s obvious that within 5-10 years, this regime will inevitably come to an end
